Weezie
‘La Sqweez’ McInnis is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on lampwork glass and precious metals. Growing up in Sumter, South Carolina and finishing school with a performing arts background Weezie’s work reflects a unique and faceted perspective tying in elements of southern upbringing, theatre of the absurd, and childlike irreverance. La Sqweez regularly references their passion for clown, puppetry, mask making, childhood nostalgia, and the importance of play. Since completing a bachelors in 2020, Weezie has been a Montessori educator encouraging children to explore all forms of art, theatre, and puppetry.
